Terms of Service

BLIP connects you to a random stranger for an anonymous voice or text conversation. By using it you agree to the rules below. They are short on purpose.

This page is maintained by the BLIP team and describes how BLIP actually works today. It is plain-language documentation, not a certification or independent audit. Questions? hello@bliptalk.live

1. You must be 18 or over

BLIP is an adults-only service. You confirm you are at least 18 years old, and that using BLIP is legal where you live. Accounts of anyone found to be under 18 are removed without appeal, and we act on reports about suspected minors as a priority.

2. The three rules

  • Be 18+. Adults only, no exceptions.
  • Be decent. Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors and nudity get you removed permanently.
  • Be real. No bots, no automated dialling, no advertising, no crypto or investment pitches, no scams or phishing.

3. What is not allowed

  • Recording, streaming or publishing another person's voice without their consent.
  • Impersonating someone else, or pretending to represent BLIP.
  • Sharing another person's private information, or attempting to identify or track them.
  • Any illegal activity, including solicitation, trafficking, fraud or the sale of controlled goods.
  • Attempting to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.

4. Reporting and enforcement

Reporting is one tap on every call. A report mutes the other person immediately, ends the match and blocks that identity for the rest of your session. We review reports and may block access for anyone who breaks these terms. We can suspend or remove access at our discretion, without notice, when safety requires it.

5. Your conversations are your responsibility

BLIP matches you with strangers we have not vetted. We do not pre-screen people or monitor conversations in real time. You are responsible for what you say, what you share and how you respond. Never share financial details, identity documents or your home address, and leave any conversation that makes you uncomfortable — the skip and end call buttons are always one tap away.

6. Availability

BLIP is provided as-is and free of charge. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, that you will always find a match, or that call quality will be perfect. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn. Text chat is currently labelled as a preview; voice is the live product.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLIP is not liable for the conduct of other users, for anything said on a call, or for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot legally be limited.

8. Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: no accounts, no call recordings, no camera.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the current version, which is 28 July 2026. Continuing to use BLIP after an update means you accept it. For anything to do with these terms, contact hello@bliptalk.live.
